How We Help Others

We support a variety of organisations, including two local football teams and the Ngorongoro Education Project Tanzania which provides education for children in remote parts of Tanzania.

We also pledge to donate 1% of our annual revenue to charitable or deserving causes. We invite our clients to nominate a charity or organisation close to their hearts and are delighted to be support the following charities this year:

Cardiac Risk in the Young

Cry raises awareness of Sudden Adult Death Syndrome (SADS) within local communities by providing medical information and offering support to families.

The Children’s Trust

The Children’s Trust needs little introduction as the UK’s leading charity for children with brain injury. It delivers rehabilitation, education and community services through its skilled teams who work with children and young people, and their families.

MARTA Centre

Marta is an advocacy and women’s rights organisation in Latvia. Established in 2000, it provides psychological and legal support to victims of violence and human trafficking and engages in legal and policy advocacy to end violence against women and commercial sexual exploitation.

Banstead Neville Bowling Club

Banstead Neville is a sociable outdoor lawn bowling club for people of all ages. Its season runs from mid-April to the end of September, with play from 10.30am until sunset at the Lady Neville Recreation Ground. We’re delighted to be a sponsor.

This charity was nominated by Phil and Lucy Cooper.

Wooden Spoon

Wooden Spoon is the children’s charity of rugby and spans the UK and Ireland. Its regional volunteer groups raise funds for children and young people with disabilities and facing disadvantage. All money raised locally funds projects within that local area. Our client, Denes, put the charity’s Surrey group forward.

Home Start Slough

Home-Start Slough

Supported in 2020

Home-Start Slough helps families in the Slough and Burnham area. Its team of trained volunteers provides non-judgemental, life-changing support to over 100 vulnerable families. The charity is also introducing Bump Start to help pregnant women, often teenagers, with their peri- and antenatal needs. It was nominated by Julie Stowe who works for the charity.

Gilgal Birmingham

Gilgal Birmingham is a safe house and refuge which provides vital accommodation and support for victims of domestic abuse in the West Midlands. The charity was put forward by Tony and Cynthia Brett-Young in memory of their late daughter Sally. Sally worked in this field and was passionate about the need to support women whose traumas and suffering often go unnoticed.

The Dan Spargo-Mabbs Foundation aims to do as much as it can to make young people aware of the risks of substance misuse and experimentation through drug education in schools around the UK. It was started by Dan’s parents, Tim & Fiona, following Dan’s death in 2014, aged 16. Our clients Richard & Jane remember Dan with fondness. He attended the same school as their daughter and they knew his family through church.
